I lived in the heart of the Soutpansberg, nestled against the southern hang of the mountain, for many years. It is a rural farming community, with mostly avocado and macadamia farms and wild fields filled with thousands of baobab trees!
Always having an abundance of local products in our pantry, I have realised that we took for granted the rich and delectable local nuts & oils we so liberally consumed.
